okla7788
I live in Toronto. I am considering summer tire vs all season. I am planning to get a set of dedicated winter tire as well. Can folks who have F1 let me know at about what temperature range does your F1 start to freeze up and become less grippy . I thought i had read seen on this forum 50F that's about 10C. 9/12 month in Toronto would be at or below that temperature range. What about a good set of a/s? What temperature range can I expect them to operate.
Xenonk
get something like the Michelin Pilot Exaltos, you'll be happier with those for the kind of driving.. not many summer tires work well for a daily commute at sub 40s and 50s.. it maybe great for the track use since you can generate a lot more heat in those conditions, but I can't imagine driving to work at 100+ mph and doing 60+ mph turns and hitting close to .85gs for the a duration of more than 10 mins out of a 25 mins commute.
