PGT, it's the same 2.3 as the SVO/ Turbo T-bird. It's not the Cossie motor (I would LOVE to get my hands on one...), but should be fun nonetheless... My biggest question at the moment is what to do with the front suspension. Stock is McP strut, with a single control arm at the bottom, and the sway bar providing the longitudinal support. The spindle is part of the strut. Not the best setup... I'm looking at various unequal a-arm (C4 vette, Mustang II) based stuff, but the big question is track width. Stock track is around 49" so the car is VERY narrow and I have to find something that will fit without having to excessively narrow the front subframe, which could compromise the feasibility of the engine swap... Well, its the challenge that makes it interesting I'll post up progress reports, just don't expect them to be quick! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
