loopless
For the iPod ( and it works with any MP3 player) I have been really very happy with the "RoadTrip!" from Newer Technology - not to be confused with the RoadTrip from Griffin- in my '05 Legacy. It only costs $20 and only outputs to one FM frequency 107.7 (thus the low price) - but it seems to work much better than the itrip which I tried as well. It looks just like a 12V charger for a cell phone, except it has an audio connector on one end for plugging into the iPods headphone jack. When I unplug-it a "real" radio station comes in load and clear, but it has no problem overpowering it.
