RIVERWHITE
So I have a line on 18x8 51mm offset SSRCOMPS wheels for the ol' Lady (05obxt) and would love to stick some GFORCE 245/45/18's on them but am worried about the 51 mm offset. anyone know or have this set up or close to it if it will fit with no rubbing? will be lowering minimally w/ some coilovers aboiut 1 1/2 " also. thanks all
drewster
stock OBXT wheel is 8" with 48mm offset inner clearance (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing) outer position (position of the outside edge of the wheel) 8" with 51mm inner: reduce by 16mm outer: increase by 10mm 8.5" with 48mm (what i'm running) inner: reduce by 19mm outer: increase by 19mm 8" with 46mm (what evoMotion is running) inner: reduce by 11mm outer: increase by 15mm in a nutshell you would gain 3mm of clearance on the inside over what i'm running but you lose 9mm of width to the outside. I've always wanted a set of the prodrive pff-7s but its 51mm offset has kept me from buying them. I think you get a better stance with something closer to the stock offset and you also fill out the wheelwells more. use this calculator to figure your offsets and clearances http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
