Overall it looked fantastic. I couldn't get any interior pics unfortunately. They had it on a rotating pedestall and barred off. Keep in mind, I already loved the car long before I went down there. So, I'm sure my opinions about it are prejudiced.

What doesn't make sense to me though, looking at the descriptions down there between the LGT and Spec.B is the horsepower ratings. OK. I understand the SAE ratings vs. the previous method. But why are you going to use 2 different methods on the same year cars with the same engines?? Really stupid.

Also, how hard would it have been to get a measly 25 HP more out of the engine for the Spec.B? It would then be a no-brainer over the base LGT. Again, I think this a really dumb move - probably by the clueless Marketing folks. Oh well - easy enough to squeeze 25 - 50 HP out of it in the aftermarket.

Haha, we're all pretty much biased towards the LGT. That's why we're here!

It's not that they are wanted to use different methods. They were forced to use it (I think? I don't know actually..). Acura and others had to do it too. The TL's engine output went from a rated 270hp to 258hp. I guess it was a standard they had to follow.

As for why Subaru didn't try to pump out more power from the 2.5L engine, I'm not sure. BMW does it with its current 3-series offerings (the 325i and 330i is different only by like one variable valve cam in the intake runners and ECU).
