Great experience at Renick Subaru (Fullerton)

My Mom recently picked up a Silver Legacy GT limited (automatic) at Renick Subaru and the experience was great. She got a good deal on a great car and the salesperson was a true car enthusiast. Greg knows his stuff and we were his first car sale. :) He's got a great no-pressure personality that made the whole process painless. Also, anyone with a AAA card gets a no-haggle price of $500 over invoice on the legacy. http://www.renick.subaru.com/en_US/ My impressions of the Legacy GT are very positive. I think the combination of luxury and performance you get in this package is a bargain. In fact, it may be my next car purchase. The power is more than adequate and the handling is great for a 4-door gt cruiser. Not to mention the amount of aftermarket sure to exist in the near future. HID and a 6-speed are the only things I would like to see added to the 2006. FYI: I drive a 1992 240sx SE and also have a heavily modded 1997 240sx that is pending sale. That's good that your mom got such a great deal on her Legacy. I didn't know that if you showed them your AAA card you'd automatically get $500 over invoice. Your '97 240SX looks really nice!! How is the CompuStar alarm? I plan on getting something like that when I get my car.

The compustar is nice. If I had to choose an alarm now I would go with satellite tracking so I could get on a computer and see it's location in real time. I will miss that car. I am trying to buy a home so that is the reason for the sale. My priorities have changed with time. 8) In regards to the $500 over invoice, I was under the impression it was only from Renick but I could be mistaken. They showed me the special AAA pricing sheet.
OT again, but are there any alarms on the market that currently have satellite tracking?
There are a few. The viper system is probably the most popular. It's about the same price as the compustar was to install. http://www.viper.com/security/viper/gps.asp
actually, $500 over invoice would be their initial offer. you can go lower than that.
I know. 8) Just stating the easy no-haggle price that is available.
speaking from personal experience, i would go somewhere else.
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. We went there a couple times and each time we both have been treated well. I have zero tolerance for BS and there was none there with Greg.

If so then head for the forest with the hot ride :D

Sweet deal. My wife and I actually went there and talked with Greg also. He was awsome and shows us the car throughly. We went to Renick a couple of times earlier before as well, and there was no difference with the way the treat you. They really take their time with you and do not hassle you at all or pressure you into buying. I am certanly buying from there. They get 2 thumbs up from me in customer service.

You can also use your phone to dial in to your car and unlock the doors and (I think) remote start it too. There are a lot of options for it.
