KTM 525
This was a lil video I took from inside the SS. I had to roll into the throttle as I have Drag radilas on and the car will incinerate them if I wack it from a dig. You still hear the tires reaking as I lay into it they were hot and had 12PSI in them too.http://media.putfile.com/LS1-heads-cam-Yank4400

Penguin
Damn did that thing stay in redline through the gears? Looks that way. High stall torque converters will do that.
KTM 525
Yeah thats what does it the converter. Not only allows you to leave harder but the shift extension is cut down. Shifts at 6600 never drops below 6K. 5EAT guys are you listening? Get a converter and you will lay waste to us 5MT guys at the strip!
Rubix973
I must say that whole shifting and staying in redline thing is madness. Good show mate.

But you'd lay waste to your clutch in a single run.

But you'd lay waste to your clutch in a single run. It's completely different. A good converter multiplies torque something a manual tranny can not do. For drag racing you can not match a well built/setup automatic transmission. Check Engine Light FTW! "ASR OFF" light FTW! This comes on when you turn the ASR (traction control) off:icon_bigg No check engine lights on this car.
