PeterJMC
Great news! Hybrid technology + AWD, I'm guessing that we won't see any of these cars in production until probably 2008.
AWD_Rules3830
well ... im guessing this ... it looks like toyota wants Fuji's advanced battery technology, in exchange subie gets a hybrid system. at this point i dont think toyota isnt much in the business for the AWD systems I love my car ... basically. spieldawg
Ahhh. Finally! I've been waiting for this announcement since toyota's purchase. The subaru's THP concept looked promising, but hopefully this will be closer to reality sooner. Hopefully.

SUBE555
Not that I'm so sure about the info, but I talked to one of the techs while diagnosing a issue with my LGT and he heard that Subaru was being contracted to aid Toyota in building the replacement for the Toyota Echo. Could be that Subaru/FHI may get more into chassis design and development for other companies too with the repuation they've earned for safety which is a strong mark for them. It's all money for them and their shareholders any way you look at it. Same with the Saabaru, they still built it and sold it, just to a different customer which was B-to-B.
