SuperhawkLGT
I have (borrowing) a set of RH C2's w/ 225 40 18" Khumo's. Not sure if the offset is 45 or 42. I think they are going to stick out too far, I was thinking about having a machine shop take off about 4-6mm from the center, I have done this in the past on an old muscle car I had for the rear wheels and had no issues, putting on my flame suit, strength issues yadda yadda. I need some expert opinions, I know there are some engineers here, don't race or autocross and not really an agressive driver, thanks.....
Xenonk
did you look at the FAQ? It would also help if you look at the back of the spokes for the specs of the rim.. normally it's stamped on there telling you the size and offset. Keefe
SuperhawkLGT
Well, looking at the wheels, they are 18x7 38mm offset best as I can tell. Here are some pics. I don't know if I could ever drop the car if i put these on, which i want to do. No opinions on cutting the wheels a bit? I really like the way they look though. SuperhawkLGT
Will there be an issue if I drop it? I did read that http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4426 B4 hand, and many times in the past.
Legasee
Wheels look nice, old school, I like it! But look like they might rub if you don't roll the fenders (but I might and I hope I'm wrong )...please keep us posted. In Taiwan now...
wrx2blackGT
i dunno man, im not diggin the look, I think yo will find better choices out there. But its all your preference. What is the tint on your headlights over the blinkers? is it on the outside of the lense?
EL PAALO
better choices out there, especially for width.everybody has different choices in style, but I don't think anybody can argue that staying the same width is an upgrade for performance. might as well upgrade width if you get new wheels, imo. It will work fine in your case if you just camber in the front in a bit. I have my car lowered 2" and it's been fine for the past 36,000+ miles.. Also under my 1st post on the FAQ: "Use these at your own risk, but to my knowledge on a lowered car with a small-spring perch type coilover, it should work and ride fine. The most you'll probably have to do to the fenders is to just roll the lip of it in to give yourself another 5mm of clearance. I hope this helps."
