RobE
Ever since new, the passenger side window defrost vent (on top of dash near the a-pillar) would blow out cold air when the heat was defrost. I took it in to get it checked out and they said it is normal for the a/c to come on when the defrost was, that's why it came out a little colder. I don't even think they looked at it. After trying to explain it to the service advisor (he didn't understand) I asked to talked to the service manager and he really didn't understand either. So I took him out to the car to feel the difference. He felt the difference. Then they determined there was a 25* difference between vents. They called SOA and they didn't know what it was either. So they flew in two engineers to look at it. They decided to replace the heater core and that solved it. They still don't know what is wrong with the heater core. Has anyone else heard or experienced this problem? Or know what caused it? Thanks Rob http://newenglandsubarus.com/
