Xenonk
those numbers really dont do justice for the car, the stock tires are holding all those cars back.. Keefe
PGT
not everyone chooses to swap tires on a new car, so the numbers are relevant. Besides, most use the same tire anyways.
Penguin
I think with RE 92's on the car I am getting a 60-0 stopping distance of around 500 ft. Also my brakes squeal like a bitch, which is apparently normal operation according to the dealer.

TSiWRX
GeorgeB - Different road-tests in different mags usually net somewhat different distances. There's a couple of threads floating around recently that cite two separate magazine's road-tests of the Legacy GT and Legacy GT spec.B. You'd do well to search up these past threads. Recently, Motor Trend (Feb. 2006) cited 122 ft. (60-0 MPH), for the RE050A-shod spec.B. <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family
