stanjk3 Posted March 1, 2006 Share Posted March 1, 2006 Got 2 of the same. O2 sensor circuit malfunction (bank 1, sensor 2) Had the O2 sensor tested when the car was inspected in Nov. They said it was OK but it needed a new cat to pass emissions, which is to be expected on an 11yr old car. Anyone know how much a new O2 sensor usually runs? GTsleeper Posted March 1, 2006 Share Posted March 1, 2006 thats ur post cat O2 depends were u get one. solid guess 40-50$ish. unfortuantly they arent every cheap. cant remember what code its for.... u should need a cat. it might be fore the heater part of the o2. Cleared the code, drove the car around the block and it didn't come back one. Also ran fine. I think we had the same code when we first got the car, it hasn't come up until now.
