BrownBoy
Here's the situation: My dad has a beater Toyota Previa he uses for the business, hauling stuff, etc. It is really old. 94MY w/ over 150K miles on it. We don't want to spend a ton of money on it. We actually don't want to spend ANY money on it:lol:. The roof is losing its clearcoat, and the paint is looking all chalky. We noticed a small portion a few months back, we didn't care...but we washed it for the first time in liek a year a couple of days ago...the clearcoat is gone in several areas. Is there a spray can of clearcoat that I could use? Also, what would be the best way of doing a cheap fix instead of going to a bodyshop and getting the whole the sprayed. We really don't want to spend any real money on it. Anything that I can do on a Saturday morning...w/out needing a paint booth, paint shooting skills, etc... Thanks for any and all help you guys will be throwing my way...If the situation is unclear, let me know, I'll try to clarify.
mccorry
No real cheap way to do it. The base coat has to be prepped for the clear to stick.....
