OCDetails Posted January 26, 2006 Share Posted January 26, 2006 It could be a fuse or something. Take it in and have them check it. Cops don't care if the car is malfunctioning. Malfunctioning cars get tickets whether it is covered under warranty or not. Your brake lights need to work regardless of whose fault it is that they don't. Don't wait till you get rear ended to get this fixed. Bicster Posted January 27, 2006 Share Posted January 27, 2006 He said his brake lights work but tail lights don't. Dumb question - but are you turning on the headlights? The DRLs don't make the tail lights come on. These cars don't have automatic headlights / taillights. If the headlights are on, you will see a green indicator in the insturment cluster.
