highlander
I haven't looked yet, but before I crawl under the car or tear the console apart, does anyone know how/where to adjust the parking break? Mine doesn't seem to actually hold unless I raise the lever a lot (3/4 or better) . ebpda9
my guess is that your car is under warranty and the dealer should take care of it.

Xenonk
there are two places for the e-brake adjustment one is under the console where the e-brake is, the other is at the rear drum assembly, see here: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26028 Specifically here: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=433672&postcount=6 The one at the rear drum assembly is known as the major increment adjustment while the one in the cabin is known as the minor adjustment.
