bochinam
I tested the breaks on a sheet of ice the other day. They unlock as advertised, but what's with the heavy break feedback? As the breaks unlocked, the pedal started pushing back progressively harder. Normal?

fweasel
Most ABS systems I've used will pulse the brake pedal when they modulate the brakes. I have to admit, it's pretty harsh in the legacy and loud too. Nearly crapped my pants the first time it engaged it was so loud. I tested the breaks on a sheet of ice the other day. They unlock as advertised, but what's with the heavy break feedback? As the breaks unlocked, the pedal started pushing back progressively harder. Normal? ignore him, he'll go away. eamiller
Bosch valve units are especially noisy. I've noticed this on Toyotas as well. GM uses a different method to drive the solenoids which makes them quieter and with less feedback.
mcsquish
I just tested my abs also. It freaked me out, I thought something was wrong. My last car was a GM and the difference is HUGE. I'm glad to findout that it's normal. ________ Stocks To Buy Now

fweasel
My ABS Seems overactive..Anyone else have this issue? 2000 leg vs 05-07 leg... different animal, or enough to not make it a real comparison. Tires, tire wear, tire pressures, suspension, road conditions... they can all have an effect on how quickly your ABS might kick in. ignore him, he'll go away.
