IcyFridge
Just picked up a 2024 Sport. My area has a lot of the 18x8.5 sti wheels on Facebook marketplace. I know the OEM 225s are too narrow. Does anyone have any issues running a 245/45 on 8.5 wheels?
DrD123
I have the same car and put 18x8.5 ET55 STi rims on mine with 245/45-18 tires (Pirelli PZero AS+ 3) and they fit just fine.

DrD123
Just a side view, or are you looking for clearance between the wheel and strut/wheel arch? (I have the black STi option rims for the VA series WRX (so the black 15 spoke ones - got a set brand new in the boxes for well under dealer cost!) I would love the Rays STi wheels myself but way too expensive. https://www.sti.jp/en/parts/wrxsti_va/wheel/ST28100VV420/

IcyFridge
The ones I see floating around are these. For that price I could get them and have them powder coated black.
IcyFridge
On a side note. Should be ok going to 8.5 wide and 245 with the stock 55 offset or do I need to go to a 45 offset?

I have a set of these wheels with winter tires(used for my previous sti) but I want to put all season with proper size tires and swap it out with my current xt oem wheels/tires. blusubado
I just got a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS 255/40-18 put on the Volk 18x9.5 ET45. They are definitely quieter and has less bump steer, compared to the 245/45 RE-71R that were on before Edited 9 hours ago by blusubado

Do you know what tire size I can put on Sti wheel besize oem to match closer to legacy xt stock size?
