I've seen a battery relocation kit (https://iwireusa.com/products/battery-relocation-kit?variant=41815255449753), but nothing for adding a second battery. My rationale for exploring this option is that I may be sitting in my car for a while, processing and downloading pics, and want to be able to power extra accessories (laptop, tablet, lights at night) and don't want to run down the primary battery. waldguy Posted April 5 Share Posted April 5 The only place that seems convenient might be a corner of the trunk, depending on size or type. A simple battery isolator kit would ensure you never run down your battery too much. I'm sure you've also considered a lithium Ion battery pack, which would be totally independent and portable -- go sit at the picnic table by the lake if needed.
