jamesylove Posted March 19 Share Posted March 19 My hood latch is bent and will no long secure the hood. Purchased replacement latch but cannot find a diagram to remove the old latch. Does anyone have experience with removal/replacement of the hood latch on 2017 model legacy? If so, that is quite an easy job if you are careful. Two people with towels & tape for paint protection helps. There should be instructions on subaruoutback.org forum how to remove the front bumper (gen5 Outback is equivalent to gen6 Legacy), or perhaps someone has made a YouTube video.
