OCDetails
I don't think so. That one comes down too far. This doesn't curve over the back of the deck lid at all. It looks more like something like this. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . OCDetails
Here's another one. Just search for STI rear chin spoiler or something and I'm sure there are more. I've seen several types of that type spoiler out there. Even a few on ebay. Once someone catches on that it is something that would sell then I'm sure there will be $30 abs versions out there ready to paint and install. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . mr_luv
looks like the 04-06 Acura TL lip or accord lip, maybe the 02-05 Audi S4 lip. Mr.
NYsFinest
The lip on the silver legacy at the top of the forum w/ the rear brake light is the one I would shoot for if I didn't have the factory one installed.
IwannaSportSedan
WHEN I get my sedan, if there is any option for me to get one sans USDM spoiler, I am going to do that. Then, if I get nothing else, I am going to do everything I can to get this one: http://www.emotion-fuk.com/shop058.jpg http://www.emotion-fuk.com/shop057.jpg This is the K2 gear Reiz sedan spoiler. it goes with their body kit that looks like a certain bavarian super-sedan. I am just not sure if I like the carbon fiber, silver carbon fiber, or body color painted composite. The composite is obviously less expensive... That, the RBS Mesh Grille, and RBS chin spoiler, and 18" rims are the big "must do if at all possible" appearance mods. The full K2Gear kit would be even better, if I could afford to get it, and the bumper beams, fog light brackets, body kit parts, Spec B-size grille, and on and on... but that is a bit more pie-in-the-sky, and money-no-object option. IwannaSportSedan
Those pictures are from a Japanese tuner shop, Emotion Fukuoka. Click the shop car button on the left... it has the full kit, wheels, exhaust, and lots of other bits... http://www.emotion-fuk.com/index.htm The kit itself is from a different Japanese vendor, K2 Gear / Hiriyama Automobile. They have lots of good stuff. http://www.babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=ja_en&trurl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.k2k2.jp%2f Provisional pricing on their website is FRP ¥36,000- (including tax ¥37,800-) - composite unpainted ~$310($325) US WCF ¥49,000- (including tax ¥51,450-) - Wet-look Carbon Fiber ~$422.38 ($443.50) US S WCF ¥58,000- (including tax ¥60,900-) - Silver wet-look CF ~$499.96 ($524.96) US Of course, that does not include shipping, handling, or anything associated with getting a part delivered from Japan to you. But the prices don't seem TOO outrageous, really. Shipping, etc. might make it a more expensive proposition... But I hear the STI lip spoiler (like the one in the header of this site) is somewhere around $600 US before shipping from Japan, as a reference... don't quote me on that, as I haven't checked it lately, and that number is from my memory... Precise
IwannaSportSedan: every post I see of yours mirrors exactly what I'm thinking, its somewhat scary sometimes. I want the k2 gear but i dont think i could afford it, so I'll probably end up with just the rbs grille, spats, front lip, and the cyber r spoiler on ion springs with some 18" wheels. Are there any wheels that you think would look good on a white LGT since it seems like our tastes are similar? And what do you think about tinting the tails with a cutout for the reverse light?
IwannaSportSedan
It is nice to see someone with good taste... (there are lots of them here.) I've often wondered what an RBS grille would look like with the grille shell part painted semi-gloss carbon black, with black, or really dark silver mesh would look like... It would really stand out on white, with the 05 blackened headlights. (not so great with 06 chrome headlights...) I like tail tints, but on the light side. On any color besides white, I would tint the whole thing. on white, you can probably go either way, full tiint, or do the cutout thing, and the bright chrome reverse lights might look integrated with the trunk lid. On the other colors, it looks better completely, but lightly tinted. For a white Legacy, 18" rims... My favorites are below. I think a medium silver wheel would look great on SWP, and pretty much all of the other colors. Bright silver looks washed out on white (like stock wheels...) and I am not a fan of really dark or black wheels in general, especially on white (looks like unmarked patrol car) a nice glossy medium-dark silver is nice, and produce a nice contrast to the white paint. The big thing is... how many spokes. 5 is light and open looking, 10 or mesh "looks" fuller and stronger, but the spokes are thinner. 7 naturally splits the difference. My favorite are the 18x7.5 BBS RG-R in Diamond black. (I'd have the rim lip machine polished, like the RS-GT) Maybe RE if you like that design better. I prefer RG-R. Volk LE37T - Volk Signature flat-6-spoke design, medium grey with polished lip. Very nice quality and look. Prodrive PPF-7 18x8 in bright flitter. Or GC-05 in British Black. Take a look at the white car thread in Legacy Photos. A really good picture of a lowered, tinted, white sedan with PFF7 wheels compared to another white stock LGT... If/When 18x8 Rota Torques (split-5 spoke) show up, in Hyper silver. Or Rota G-Force 10-spoke rims in Steel Gray. I also like a couple of ROH wheels. http://www.roh.com.au/asp/product_catalogue.asp Modena (5-spoke) or it's new split-spoke version (forget the name, too new for website) Adrenalin (split 5), or Mantis (mesh/web) - if you like the rims on the Nissan Altima SE-R... CreoSTi
These are the prices for the K2 Gear rear spoiler that I got from Paul (AVO) back in September; FRP: $472.00usd shipped via air freight Wet Carbon Fiber: $628.00usd via air freight S Wet Carbon Fiber: $696.00usd via air freight I'll be ordering the FRP (composite) and a 20mm rear sway bar for my LGT in a week or two. -Mike-

CreoSTi
Is that painted? Damn for that price might as well just get the STi. No, those prices are unpainted. The STi rear spoiler option doesn't make sense for my LGT. First, it retails for ~$650 painted, I would then end up paying more to have it stripped/repainted (there is no Titanium Silver Metallic option), I'm stuck with drilling my trunk lid for the installation, and finally another third (fourth?) brake light. Plus, I like the K2 Gear's look better. -Mike-
