Hey guys,

I bought a 2006 STI 2 weeks ago and could not find 17inch tires anywhere for the winter...they are all sold out.. but I did find 18 inch tires... so I bought them... Now no one has 18 inch Rota's in stock for the 06 STI.... SO I bought another set of 18*7.5 with a 48mm offset.... Here is the problem They only fit with a 1/4inch Spacer... 1/4inch is equivalent to 6.35mm... Do you guys think this is safe to drive on?? I am in desperate need of advice... Should I sell the wheels and wait until February for my winter wheels... (Meaning I cannot drive at all in the snow) I know most of you guys here and on nasioc are very knowledgeable and will take your advice strongly...

Bottom Line:

18*7.5 with a 48mm offset and a 6.35mm (.25 inch) spacer on my 2006 STI that is a daily driver about 40miles each way on mostly highway at 80mph..... in the winter (from December to End of March)

Desperately need of advice!!!!!
