RumblyXT
Yeah, I’m not sure what happened. I had just done an engine oil & filter change. Car had all new vacuum lines, PCV, fuel lines, etc.. it’s not like I was flooring it either.. With these cars, when it’s not a H/G it’s a rod bearing, or the turbo.. I love the brand, but these things are certainly a big deterrent. Oh well.. Edited February 8, 2023 by RumblyXT
RumblyXT
Well at least I got to own and experience one of these turbo motors. Can’t really say I didn’t enjoy it.. Looking for an ‘08-‘09 Outback 3.0 now, but they’re difficult to find

RumblyXT
Guys, since I already have the USDM motor with all its Cam Gears, sensors, etc.. what do you guys think about this eBay JDM ej20X? Would I have to tear the dash and remove the dash harness to send it to iwire or it would just be the engine harness? I'm trying to think for a possible solution before getting rid of the car.. your comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated. https://picclick.com/2003-2006-Subaru-Legacy-Gt-Engine-Jdm-Ej20X-20L-165734326673.html
RumblyXT
Don’t want to give up on the car, since I’ve worked so much on it already..
BoozeRS05
It’s not easy to troubleshoot over a forum. I’d try to find help local to you, whether it’s a shop or someone that could look it over and give you solid advice. I certainly wouldn’t want to encourage you to spend more money on an older car if that’s not the right advice, risk/reward. 1 EB's Subaru journal - 2005 LegacyGT Wagon & 2014 Forester FB25 (2008 specB - RIP) IG@legacygtliving
