Funny that my insurance doesn't seem any lower than any other cars in the same class. Of course, I would bring this to my insurance company's attention if I hadn't recently receive my first ticket. Doh!
emorphien
I'd like to know how they test/decide this. Interesting none the less.
dougc
Funny that my insurance doesn't seem any lower than any other cars in the same class. my insurance went down from $164 a month to $123 a month. I went from an 02 Altima 2.5 sl to the Legacy 2.5i ltd.
MassiveAttack
You forgot the Honda Civic. Honda Civic gets the same as an AWD Legacy.
emorphien
You forgot the Honda Civic. Honda Civic gets the same as an AWD Legacy. One of many reasons why I'm wondering how they came up with this. Oh and they gave the Audis a lower rating (not complaining there but I don't know how they measure). Jon in CT
This thread is pretty screwed up. NHTSA wasn't involved with that list, nor was performance in snow. Earlier this month IIHS announced a list of 10 car models that offered the best crash protection to occupants. A list of some of the threads discussing that list can be found in the second post of: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23623
emorphien
the list sounded familiar. They're just listing the best cars to drive in winter if you want to crash and not die
