verbyd
When I drive my car in the rain, car wash, or deep snow I am getting a check engine light, the car will also idle rough, and I can't accelerate like normal. The car goes back to normal very quickly. Check engine light goes away on it's own. Since the engine codes were already cleared by the system all the technician could find was this wire unplugged. 1) If this plug gets wet could it cause a check engine light? 2) What does this wire actually do? I've noticed since they plugged it back in my idle is much lower, the gas pedal is less touchy, slowing to a stop is much smoother. Thanks again! FLlegacy
I believe that is an oil pressure sensor/switch, but I can't be 100% sure without checking the manual which I don't have in front of me.
