klaus
Hi, folks, I have an OB with taupe interior. It looks great, however it seems like people kick it everytime they enter or exit the car . There are dark shoe marks on the doors and on other plastic pieces inside (bottom of chairs, console at the front, etc). It doesn't look too bad yet and I can get it off, however I am looking around for something that would reduce marks or make them easier to remove. Somebody suggested Scratchguard (?) and I'm on the way to a store to figure out if this is goint to work... Any other ideas? Thanks a lot, klaus. djjuice
I also have the taupe interior, and I have used Mr. Clean magic eraser with good results on the door and seat plastics, and the plastic door sill.
hogmeat
argh! What am I going to do about all the MUD in my nice clean interior? I mean, it's so dirty from this winter I'm pleasantly surprised... It was most certainly worth the couple bucks and 10 mins of my time. klaus
Yeah, that's a problem too... I have the heavy duty floor mats and I'm training kids to take shoes off if they are muddy when they get in the car.
NatesGr8
if you use armourall regualrly on your plastic pieces it will help keep scuffs and marks from showing up. i think it has something to do with the thin slippery protectant layer that is left on the surface. i've used this technique on boat interiors for many years. NatesGr8
i use the armor all original protectant. and the armor all cleaner. usually at the stores they come in packages of like original protectant, cleaner, and glass wipes. but the one i use most is the original protectant.
