Advice needed: shoe marks on taupe interior

Recommended Posts

Hi, folks,

I have an OB with taupe interior. It looks great, however it seems like people kick it everytime they enter or exit the car :icon_evil . There are dark shoe marks on the doors and on other plastic pieces inside (bottom of chairs, console at the front, etc).

It doesn't look too bad yet and I can get it off, however I am looking around for something that would reduce marks or make them easier to remove. Somebody suggested Scratchguard (?) and I'm on the way to a store to figure out if this is goint to work... Any other ideas?

Thanks a lot,

klaus.

if you use armourall regualrly on your plastic pieces it will help keep scuffs and marks from showing up. i think it has something to do with the thin slippery protectant layer that is left on the surface. i've used this technique on boat interiors for many years.
