P1710 issues

So I started receiving this code occasionally along with P0700 which is just transmission MIL light. Then recently it's been often :spin: (once on my drive to work, then again on the way home which is about 65kms each way).

 

Because of the amount of KMs on the car (400,000+ kms) and the age of the car (2008) I tried first to drain the transmission fluid and replace with fresh. Before doing so I was receiving the light as mentioned above twice a day. Once I did the fluid I didn't receive it for many days but it's back to it's once a commute trigger.

 

I've read that people have replaced the hull sensor on the valve body and this has corrected it. I just want to see if anyone has done anything else that has fixed this any other way? Opening the transmission and dropping the valve body is not something I can do in my condo parking spot. Atleast not easily or without people noticing.
