relative4
I'm planning to put a VF52 in my '05 LGT. What additional changes do I need to prepare? Will the coolant and oil lines match up, or will I need other parts there? Regarding the restrictor pill, should I use the hose that comes with the turbo, or what? I expect this will be moot if I go to a 3-port EBCS... What else have I not thought of? Thanks!
Shawn06SpecB
No restrictor with a 3 port. Edited June 6, 2022 by Shawn06SpecB
Pleides
Just go EBCS when you install the turbo. You can get it properly vacuum tested before it goes on the dyno. You may need a basemap to get it TO the dyno, however.
Max Capacity
You'll need to trim the opening in the stock heatshield for the waste gate arm. New oil return hose. Talk with your Tuner first. Oh yeah, I find it easier to bolt the turbo to the up pipe. The bolts are the same ones that bolt the up pipe support bracket to the block.
