dralston Posted December 8, 2005 Share Posted December 8, 2005 On the USDM stereo it say SAT on the circuit board. The button is the there and everything. The only thing stopping you from pressing it is the plastics. Also if you look at the display you can see that there is a SAT light (It may be hard to see in the car because the face is tinted). ddub Posted December 8, 2005 Author Share Posted December 8, 2005 Yes, I've seen the SAT light on the stereo faceplate. I thought that since everything else seemed the same with the stereo I linked to, that the stuff behind the screens would be the same too. It would be interesting to see if a stock stereo system with the tape player had the same 'SAT' printed on the circuit board. If so, the word SAT doesn't mean anything (at least for how subaru uses this stereo). Thanks for the info on the circuit board.
