The best aftermarket solution I've found for the problem is KNS's Pillar Vane design: https://www.knsbrakes.com/c/car-series/741_2011+Subaru+Forester+All+Models/815_KNS+Brake+Rotor+-+Single+Rotor Unfortunately, they do not seem to have rotors for the Legacy, but I haven't had any issues on my wife's Forester since I put these on.
