wiping cloths

Recommended Posts

Personally I use windex to clean the windows both inside and out.

Use a dry paper towel to really clean the surface.

Then use a lint free cloth or microfiber cloth to remove any excess and buff.

Do this buffing stage twice and yr windows will look magic.

I'm not a big fan of walmart microfibers. They leave too much lint for my taste. I use the forrest green towels from www.premiumautocare.com. They are my favorite on the paint. I use the walmart kind for buffing under the hood, on wheels, and on glass.

Just go and get some old rags, they can be purchased for like $5 at yr local hardware store and they have been cleaned etc. I find these are the best to remove water marks etc, dont have to do it hard, just nice and soft works best.

Bleh windex. The tinting vendor on the boards here (lee something) says no-no. He (and I) go Invisible Glass, its sold in automotive stores and discount stores in the automotive section. Its an aerosol bubbly thin foam almost. Works great.

I bought my microfibers at Target and they seem to be of good quality. I see other towels around that don't feel as good.

I just went and checked, I use Polyglaze Invisible Glass, Im sure its the same as what J.Reed uses. I totally apologise for leading anyone down the garden path by saying Windex. Invisible Glass is amazing stuff and works great, I think I got confused because both products are blue.
