Dudewithanaux
So I recently acquired a used Legacy from a local dealership. When I checked out the car I noticed it had an AUX port. I thought it would be a great way to play music off of my phone, as I wasn’t too keen on just playing the music directly off of my phone. So I got a cord that’s compatible with my phone, and tried plugging it in. My phone seemed to recognize that it was plugged into something, but the car did nothing. Pressing the button did nothing. So I checked the user manual to see if I was just doing something wrong, but that was ridiculously vague. Is the port broken, or do modern phones simply not work? whitetiger
Some aux cables don't play nice with phones in protective cases. If your phone is in one, it may prevent the aux cable from fully engaging the phone. Take it out of the case and try that way.
creep_nu
this may sound stupid but...you did manually change the radio to aux, right?
