Replacing Oil Cooler Hoses

For those of you that have replaced the small coolant hoses from the water pump and over to the oil cooler is it necessary to have the manifold off to replace the rear hose out of the back of the oil cooler or is there enough clearance from under and in between the manifold runs?

I replaced mine with the manifold off. Now that isn't to say manifold on can't be done, but it is tight and way easier with manifold off.

 

 

Also I had the engine out which makes it easier too haha
