Those with madrig's wagon rear quarters - question

I got some wagon rear quarters from madrig in January. Lovely pieces.

 

It is my understanding that these are a replacement for the steel rear quarters yes? Or are they just a widebody kit type part?

 

I've gone to a few body shops around me, but so far they are completely unfamiliar with what to do with these. So, am I out in left field thinking they are a direct replacement for the stock steel panels?

you cut out the rear quarters and bond these in. madrig has a thread on this

kind of begs the question why you bought it without having a shop lined up?

 

look for a race shop or a custom fab shop

Cause I ordered them in July and received in January. Doubt a shop would be waiting.

 

I have found a couple places in town that claim to do custom work, so will check them out.
