Advice about selling my 2007 Spec B

Recommended Posts

So here is the story. When the issues started it was out of the blue. Not while driving or anything. Long story short, there is a short somewhere and the ecu is fried. The dealership recommends a new fuse box and ecu and they strongly believe it would start and run. There is a small fuel leak but other than all that the car is in pretty good condition. It has 190000 miles and my dad bought it. I’m in college and don’t have the time or money to fix it. So I’m asking to see what the best path is.

I’m not sure how much it’s worth. It has a lot of miles but doesn’t have any immediate mechanical issues. I know the transmission is worth a good amount. But other than that I’m kind of in the dark.

Anything would help a ton and would be greatly appreciated.

That's not a common issue with these cars. Can you call around to auto repair shops and find one that knows Subaru's. They might be able to help for less money.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
