MilkHoser
Hello, im a new owner of a GT-VDC(2000) and after doing some reading, i heard that the banjo botls for cars of this generation tend to clog and starve the turbo. I looked into my car, but it appears to be different then other examples from this year. Are these attached images the banjo bolt? it looks different then other ones i've seen. Also, is it okay for it to have such a small hole? Thanks for the help! https://imgur.com/a/hRcoFOL
ehsnils
The culprit banjo bolt is on the engine block side and there's a thin mesh filter that can get clogged. Removing that filter prevents the oil starvation issue. Of course it's not wrong to clean those small holes, but those aren't the main problem.
