Carmania24 Posted October 5, 2020 Share Posted October 5, 2020 Hi all, So a friend of mine might be selling a built 4EAT that can handle (I believe) 600hp. I currently have the 5EAT and was wondering if anyone has done this swap and what is needed to swap it out? I might be interested in buying it but not till next year. I sent an email to iWire, and they told me this: "Thanks for contacting us. The 5EAT and 4EAT do have very similar bolt on patterns, and will mate up to the engine. Unfortunately, that's where the similarities stop. The internal sensors and valve body are way too different to make it work. It would require a significant amount of modification, and really is out of our wheelhouse. We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we also want to be forthcoming in what projects entail. Unfortunately, we don't sell any adaptors for this either. " Looks like I will stick with a 5EAT and save up for a built 5EAT from IPT. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
