SooBaRue Posted August 21, 2020 Share Posted August 21, 2020 This car makes clicking sounds intermittently after a drive. One of the clicks sounds like normal cooling off with metal expanding. The louder more constant click I do not know.. Video: Anyone have any ideas what that might be? Relay? Thank you in advance for any insights. aki334 Posted August 22, 2020 Share Posted August 22, 2020 LOL sounds like someone is doing some construction work under you car. How long this lasts? Does it happen when engine is on? The only logical thing is something is cooling off, Check that you have enough coolant and no air in cooling system. Looks like your exhaust is running very hot. How many miles on the odometer? When this happens I would use laser temperature gun and measure temperature of the catalytic converter before and after catalytic converter.
