boostguy77 Posted August 10, 2020 Share Posted August 10, 2020 I am installing a VF46 turbo on my 2005 Legacy GT... does anyone have any advice for the install? Seems like a straight swap but I saw a recent thread discussing issues with the swapping the actuator or boost pill from the OEM VF40 leading to potential overboost or underboost....thx!! Pleides Posted August 10, 2020 Share Posted August 10, 2020 You absolutely need a boost pill. Mine went on the dyno and refused to make proper boost until the tuner found my car had no boost restrictor pill. Otherwise it's an easy swap. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
