Single exit exhaust

With my steadily decaying exhaust I’ve been trying to plan a catback for my 2005 outback xt. I had an 05 sti with a catless downpipe and an invidia g200 and loved it so much that I considered buying one and modifying it to fit my outback, but I didn’t take into consideration that wagons seem to drone like hell and that would just kill the car for me since my work commute is 2hrs a day back and forth on the interstate.

 

Anyone here have any experience with a single exit setup on a wagon that didn’t have an unreasonable amount of drone? I currently have an invidia up pipe and catted downpipe.
