cbroo Posted November 24, 2005 Share Posted November 24, 2005 Anyone been up to the rockies yet. I spent all last weekend in Summit county. Snow is great and driving is well alright. Vail has aton of snow and alot of terrain open. Weekends suck at the lifts. Also Keystones 36hours of skiing was fun. just stay away from Breck. the lines for the lifts are about 45 mins.- to an hour. but the drive is great and roads dry an safe but no fun for use AWD drivers. I skied Copper once last week but Flyer was broken down creating mega lines so we cruised to Winter Park. There was a lot of fresh powder last week and no lines. On Thanksgiving, we skied Mary Jane. Not a whole lot open but Rifle Site Notch, Derailer, Jane and Outhouse kept us busy. There was nothing but fresh snow on Outhouse because it just opened. I just put a set of Michelin Alpin AP2's on my OBXT. There was quite a bit of ice a couple times near the tunnel and on Burthod. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
