svxy
I don't have an iPhone, I have an Android, but I use an old iPhone in my 2020 Legacy as my music library. Today when I started the car the screen asked if I wanted to connect to Carplay, I pushed to quickly and touched yes instead of no, and the screen took me to Carplay. For the life of me I could not figure out how to get out of Carplay while driving and switch to another source, Add to that, since the car thought I had an iPhone I received a call on my Android and it didn't answer, I guess because it thought I already had an iphone connected. Two things, not sure why it didn't answer since the iPhone was hard wired with USB and not bluetooth, and what am I missing to turn off Apple Carplay while on the road? gibjer
You could just disable carplay all together on the other iphone, it may pick it up as just an iPod at that point. On the phone you can also goto Settings > General > Car Play > click on your car and forget.
