Rear rotor removal ‘15 legacy

I’m trying to replace the rear pads on our 15 legacy, but can’t get them off. Do you have to remove the nut on the axle? The new rotors just have an open hole, as to slide over the hub and nut. Should my new rotor have the lip or is the of one seized that bad?60c7047e52cf165b2252da2a76dace86.jpgbbba18e1da853efaf24f4d2e0a07dbe1.jpg

So from the only YouTube video I found in assuming it’s just really stuck. I figured the holes were for a puller, but he was talking about running a bolt in them to push it off? Gonna give it another try tomorrow, just never had a rotor this tight without e brake pads behind it. Any advice on compressing the piston?
