Code help and misc.

So I just did a manual code read of the blinking check engine light in my 2000 Legacy and it came up with codes 128 and 127. However Subaru allegedly doesn't have a 127 code? So then if that is true what does this mean. I know for sure it was 127 because it was me and a friend counting the blinking CEL and read them out like 8 times making sure we had the correct codes. I was hoping one of these would lead to figuring out my my car constantly has the "VDC Off" light on the dash but i don't think either would cause that. On top of these issues when I went down to connect the two black connectors under the steering wheel there were two mystery unplugged connectors next to them that were white (so not the green other test connectors) any ideas what the could be?
