jarrod Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 Well guys right now i have my utec set on map 0 so it should be using the stock ecu tune. When i rev the car a bit i still get this rattle noise, the best description would be like a can of paint with the ball bouncing around in it. I only have to rev it to maybe 1500 rpms and as the rpms slow back down to normal i hear this rattle. Also when go WOT i get an exhaust smell in the car btw i have stock exhaust..i'm wondering if the 2 might be related..any thoughts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
styx0r Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 Well, if you get an exhaust smell in the cabin, chances are extremely good that you have an exhaust leak. As the engine speed changes, the exhaust gas velocity changes - as RPMs drop, you're probably hearing loose bolts / broken heatshielding rattling...
