Wood grain wheel in 97 outback

I last week found a mint wood grain wheel from a 3rd gen h6 for a steal at a junkyard, and have everything bolted up but am absolutely confused about how I get the airbag working. My og clockspring has 3 wires for the airbag, so I went and grabbed the clockspring from the h6 car, that has 2 wires and the wrong plug for the dash harness, and it’s the same story with a clockspring from a 99 legacy. I am at my wits end with this and am wondering if it’s even possible?? I’m fairly competent when it comes to soldering so if there’s any way to splice the connector I’d be open, but I can’t find a wiring diagram for the airbag system anywhere?
