Kerste
The only car with any kind of speed that I've driven aside from my car was my Dad's 2004 Porsche Carrera S. He let me drive it around the neighborhood and I had a grin plastered on my face the whole time.
rfd425
You guys all have me pwn3d in this thread, but what the hell: '66 Porsche 912 (mine -- 4-cyl. version of the 911, first full year of the car) '98 Mercedes SLK (rented for one day in Las Vegas, drove on fun desert roads) '95 Jaguar XJ-S V12 convertible (Mom's) '79 Mustang Turbo, Indy Pace Car edition (parent's; later became mine) '05 Passat W8 6-spd. (only year w/6-spd.; test-drove it but preferred the LGT) ...the W8 is a sweet engine though. Those are probably the only ones remotely worth noting, though I've driven some other cars that I consider pretty cool. Cool/rare cars I've ridden in: '95 Audi S6 wagon (5-cyl. turbo; only around 200 imported into the USA) '79 Porsche 930 Turbo (I'm guessing on the year; it was an instructor's car) I so wanted to get a ride in a '84 Audi Sport Quattro at a Quattro Club track event, but never got around to it. The Sport Quattro was built for Group B rally, and only 200 were built for homologation, of which at least half were destroyed in competition. There are probably only 50-80 examples left in the world today, but a guy here in Minnesota owns three or four of them. It's a short wheelbase, Kevlar-bodied, higher powered version of the "Ur-Quattro" (original Audi Quattro Coupe).
