95 legacy L model 2wheel Drive; AT: ABS Master Cylinder Problems

I really could use some help. I have always wanted a subaru. I have a friend offering to give me the above car in running condition. Its been in his family and maintained since new. But it needs a Brake Master Cylinder and I cannot find this anywhere. I have looked on ebay, Ive called junk yards, the subaru dealer ship. Been looking everywhere. I can find many, but not the one that is supposed to be for this specific car. The Subaru part number is 26401ac010. Any advice would be helpful. There may be a possible rebuild service I have found but its not certain be work. I am wondering are there any other solutions to this problem? Is it possible another master cylinder would work? I know that's a stretch, but I'm kind of desperate at this point.

Not sure where you've been looking, but rock auto and many other vendors, including Amazon and eBay, list all kinds of master cylinders for the '95 Legacy. There are differences depending upon whether the vehicle has ABS and/or rear disc brakes, so order carefully.
