MaasaiWarrior
Hey everyone I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I had to change out my nav screen for a new to me one because of the lcd dying and I popped the new one in and it's working perfectly. All the car functions work well and I can go through everything except the nav stuff. The buttons switch the monitor over to the nav but nothing loads. I just get a black screen. Is there any re-programming I have to do? I've tried ejecting the Nav DVD which I believe is the original one but it will not do it. I've pressed the tiny reset beside the eject button but that didn't do a thing. I've unplugged the DVD unit and plugged it all back in again with the same results. Is there anything I'm missing or should I try a new DVD drive? 08 Spec B, insta: @08_spec_b, 10 SH Forester insta: @shfozzy
MaasaiWarrior
Well I decided to pull out the drive and take a good look... she's done. I pulled the cover off and tried it to see if the disc was spinning at all. No go... so I decided to look deeper, after a long fight I was able to get the OE nav disc out with no issues. She's a little crusty though!! 08 Spec B, insta: @08_spec_b, 10 SH Forester insta: @shfozzy
