Jendia
Shout out to anyone who might have suggestions for finding root cause for the clock not keeping time. When the car is off for ~1 hour ormore, upon restarting, the clock resets to 1:00. When it resets to 1:00 it keeps time from that point until the engine is off for ~1 hour or so. If the engine is off and restarted in less than ~1 hour, the time keeps advancing from the original 1:00 reset time. I've checked the illumin fuse and both clock fuses listed in the owner manual. Has anyone encountered this before? Thank you!
Jendia
Turns out it just needed a new battery--whew!
xt2005bonbon
yeah, if the voltage is too low, when you try to start the car it will reset the ECU and the clock and stuff (i.e. similar to unhooking the car battery).
